Lilburn Man Arrested After Shooting a Young Man For Turning into the Wrong Driveway

A 69-year-old man was arresting for shooting a car full of teenagers in effort to protect his home. The car was thought to have pulled into the wrong driveway through a mishap with the GPS System.

Unsolved hit-and-run truck accident devastates Georgia family

The family indicated that the mother and child were Christmas shopping just prior to the collision and that there were presents in the SUV. The fire apparently was so intense that the family says they have not even been able to recover the woman's wedding ring. The police contend they have not found the truck driver but they have released a description of the truck.

Texting and Driving Resulted in a Police Car Being Hit

Lauren Owens, driving a Nissan Pathfinder, slammed into an Albany Police car at 2:30 in the morning on New Year's Day. Owens was found to be texting and driving when she hit the car. Officer Garnet Lincey was injured and taken to the hospital.

The Police Department responded after his wife, Carol Sublett, reported him missing. When found, his hands were bound in front of him with plastic ties, and he had been shot once in the head.
